LIGHTING FOR PORTRAITS AND PRODUCTS
Come learn about light! We will go over the qualities of light, what to look for in a scene and how to modify light both on location and in the studio. We will get hands on with several different lighting setups in the studio as well as spend some time outside working with natural light. Students should have a general working knowledge of their camera including how to change aperture, shutter speed, white balance, and ISO (a good class to learn this would be DSLR Camera Basics). We will spend time shooting in Shutter priority, Aperture priority and Manual modes on the camera. Instructor: Phillip Turner. Class meets on Tuesday.
