Fly Rod Making
Build or restore your own fly rod. Students will have a choice between building a graphite 9 ft. four-piece rod or for an additional cost of around $150 you may choose to build a bamboo rod 7 ft long in a two piece rod with two tips. Methodology of rod building will consist of techniques that are well over 100 years old. All materials will be provided but students are welcome to bring a rod for evaluation and restoration.
