Articulation through Art
Wednesday February 13
12 – 1p
Creative Arts Building, room 7105
The Professional Crafts department will be hosting visiting artist Sarah Rose Lejeune Wednesday, February 13, 12 to 1 p.m. in the Creative Arts Building, room 7105. This one-hour artist lecture is free and open to the public.
Lejeune is a papermaker, weaver, sculptor and printmaker from Massachusetts. She graduated with a degree in Studio Art from Oberlin College and is currently a core fellow at the Penland School of Craft. Working primarily with handmade paper, handwoven cloth and metal, Lejeune’s work embodies the absurdity and longing of the space between experience and memory.
